Snecma CEO Pierre Fabre told Aviation Week's Engine MRO Europe attendees that innovation and efficiency are key for OEMs in both manufacturing and service. He noted that attendees will see a CFM-56 assembly line today where engine assembly time has been reduced by 30 percent. He also noted on the service side that it's shop in Querétaro, Mexico is reducing TAT by using RFID chips to track parts in real time.
