The Brazilian government has begun trials to help realize its ambitions to build a hypersonic waverider demonstrator.
Initial work is being carried out by the The Institute for Advanced Studies to assess flow parameters of the supersonic combustion engine, with a particular focus on the engine inlet and exhaust area, the Brazilian air force reports.
