EADS expects it will cost 105 million euro to fix 67 delivered A380s to fix cracking wing rib feet. Additional cost could emerge, still. EADS is still assessing what the cost will be to make the manufacturing changes to avoid the cracks in the wing component occurring, EADS CEO Louis Gallois notes.The experience, so far, with fixing customer aircraft reinforces that the 105 million euro cost provision is the right level, Gallois says.
