Expect American Airlines to look very different after today’s announcement that its parent company, AMR Corp., has filed for bankruptcy protection. Speculation grows on what will happen to American’s massive orders placed with Boeing and Airbus. Will the 737 and A320 orders survive? Labor contracts are all but certain to change, too.Some cosmetic changes are already here. American has modified its livery on 737s being delivered now.
