  • FAA's Babbitt to Kick Off ALPA Air Safety Forum

    The Air Line Pilots Assn.'s 55th Air Safety Forum--dubbed "It Takes a Pilot"-- starts today, Aug. 5, at 1:00pm, with FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt delivering the keynote address. 

    Aviation experts from around the world are gathering at Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC today and tomorrow to explore major aviation safety issues of day--including strategies for training the next generation of pilots and new technology aimed at keeping aircraft safe from birdstrikes.
