There has been a lot of press lately on an apparent rise in operational errors in the skies over Washington, DC. I don't think there is a particular problem in Washington, but the debate has highlighted some interesting issues with FAA's voluntary reporting program, and how that can affect the statistics.FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt spoke on Kojo Nnamdi's popular radio show about this issue.
