As athletes are breaking records in London, the next Summer Olympics host city is prepping for something unprecedented of its own. TAM Airlines, the Brazilian branch of the South American LATAM Airlines Group, has announced that it will add daily non-stop flights between Orlando and Galeao Airport in Rio de Janeiro, making it the first airline to do so. Service won’t begin until Nov. 12, but would-be passengers already can book tickets for the roundtrip flights. The airline plans to use an Airbus A330 aircraft that can hold up to 223 passengers, potentially bringing a decent number of people into the city each day. Good thing too. When the 2016 Summer Olympics roll into Rio de Janeiro, it might just be easier to get there.
