    Don't underestimate the debate swirling around the aviation industry. It involves billions and billions of dollars annually and everyone from leasing companies, such as ILFC and GECAS, to MROs and airlines. Modern technology aircraft and engines generate a lot of performance and operational data, but if the industry can't use it well, is it a benefit?

    With GE acquiring AerData, what does this mean for the industry? As Denis says in his latest Aircraft Lifecycle Wikinomics post, "The problem isn’t that we don’t have standards, the problem is we don’t execute what we promise."
