Estonian Air has taken delivery of its first Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen. The Tallinn-based airline ordered three of the 88-seat regional jets in 2010, two for delivery this month and one in 2012, and has options on two more.

The CRJ900 will enter service on Jan 27, on Estonian's Tallinn-Stockholm route. With lower operating costs than the airline's larger 737s, the new aircraft will be used on shorter, higher-demand routes such as Brussels. Moscow and Stockholm.
