Two more CRJ100s have left the Comair fleet and were flown into Kingman, AZ, for storage on Tuesday. Comair ordered a total of 147 CRJ100s/200s between 1991 and 2000, but now has only 12 left flying in its fleet. Delta announced on July 27 that it would shut down its Comair subsidiary on Sept. 29, 2012. Jazz Air is also phasing out its CRJ100s in favor of DHC-8-400s. They are being returned to Air Canada and stored, some at Calgary, awaiting their fate.
