Airbus: NEO Firm Orders Top 800 Aircraft

Airbus has now secured firm orders for more than 800 A320NEO (new engine option) aircraft.

The tally includes the 30 Lufthansa A320/A321 NEOs the airline and Airbus say are firm, although they have not yet hit the order book because of what one person called "minor contractual" issues.

Airbus has announced comitments for more than 200 additional NEOs.

Here is the current lineup and status of NEO deals (note: it counts the Lufthansa deal as firm, even if it is not in the Airbus orderbook):
