Flying Boeing 787
Qatar Airways 787
I got a chuckle this morning when I read that JetBlue Airways has signed a deal to be the "Official & Exclusive Airline" of the soon-to-open Broadway musical "Catch Me If You Can."The show is based on the 2002 movie of the same title in which Leonardo DiCaprio portrayed Frank Abagnale Jr., a self-described "confidence man" who posed as an attorney, college professor, pediatrician and, most famously, as a pilot for Pan Am.In a press release, JetBlue said its "mission and essence, to bring humanity back to air travel, resurrect the glamour and joy of the flying in the 1960s, the industry era recreated for the Broadway show."One would assume that resurrecting the glamour and joy won't entail having non-qualified individuals flying the planes.
