A look at the Aviation Week Intelligence Network's fleet database shows a preliminary estimate of 582 aircraft delivered by Airbus in 2012. This total is short of Boeing's 601 aircraft deliveries in 2012 as announced today. However, it's still higher than Airbus' goal of 570 deliveries as set out in January 2012. A380 deliveries were forecast by Airbus to be around 28-29 in 2012, but 30 aircraft are estimated to have been delivered. A320 family deliveries for 2012 are estimated at 451 and A330 deliveries are estimated at 101.
