Airbus has started building Section 19 of the first A350XWB. What is interesting about the structure is that it uses a barrel design, rather than composite panels on a substructure used for the rest of the A350 fuselage.The work is taking place at Airbus Illescas, Spain facility. Other parts of the A350 now in build include the lower wing shell (at the same facility):And Spirit is working here on the A350XWB fuselage:
