If you can't beat new media, then join it. GE Aviation has, creating a series of short videos on its GEnx engine for the Boeing 787 and 747-8 and posting them on youtube. There is even a landing page, just for the videos - www.ge.com/news/genx_video.html. There are already seven shorts on the site, showing different aspects of the engine program. I'll leave it our readers to critique the plot structure, character development and videography. I'm still working my way through them, but my favorite so far is the first one:Video: GE Aviation
