Xiamen Airlines became the fourth Chinese member of the SkyTeam alliance. Xiamen joins China Airlines, China Eastern and China Southern. This means SkyTeam gains hubs in Xiamen, Fuzhou and Hangzhou. Here are a few interesting tidbits about Xiamen Airlines: 1. It operates an all Boeing fleet, comprised of 86 aircraft now but by 2015, that number should grow to 136 aircraft, including six Boeing 787s. 2. The airline was established in 1984. 3.
