The A380 network got decidedly wider today.Emirates has commenced flights with the four-engined mega-transport to Manchester in the U.K. The airline notes it is the first operation with the A380 to a regional airport -- a move that may make sense for a carrier buying 90 A380s but perhaps not for others.(credit: Emirates)Meanwhile, Air France has commenced A380 operations to Tokyo from its Paris Charles de Gaulle hub. And Lufthansa says it will fly the A380 to Beijing.
