  • Water Cannon Salute For Boeing's 787 In India

    Following the conclusion of route-proving flight tests in Japan with All Nippon Airways, ZA002 today landed at India's New Delhi International airport, welcomed into the country for the first time with a water cannon salute.

    It will depart Delhi on Friday morning for Mumbai, before leaving on Saturday 16 July.

    Pilot training for Air India, which has 27 787s on order, will commence next month. If you haven't already, take a look at today's story on India's plans to ease out all foreign pilots - approximately 20% of the workforce - by the end of 2013.
