  • Southwest's second 737-800

    The newest 737-800 operator, Southwest Airlines, took delivery of its second aircraft at Paine Field, Washington earlier today. The aircraft, pictured here on departure from Boeing Field, made a 16-minute flight to Paine where it will be fitted with the Row44 in-flight broadband in-flight entertainment system.

    On March 8th, Southwest’s first aircraft N8301J, was technically delivered and flown to Paine Field for system installation before delivery to Dallas on March 19th. This first -800, dubbed "Warrior One", is scheduled to fly the first revenue service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 11.
