  • Pamir Crash Site Spotted

    Debris from the Pamir Airways Antonov An-24B that crashed in the mountains of Afghanistan has now been located.
    The Afghan National Army Air Corps and NATO deployed several assets, including Mi-17 helos, C-27 transports and intelligence gathering unmanned aircraft to help locate
    debris from Flight PM112. The 38-year old Soviet-era turboprop was flying from Kunduz to Kabul went the aircraft went down.

    NATO says the debris has been spotted at approximately 13,500 feet in the Shakar Darah district of Kabul Province.
    Now the channelge becomes getting up the difficult terrain to recover debris and bodies.
