Last week we brought you a whole host of footage from the flying display at the Farnborough air show. We also had the opportunity to take a ride on a tug with ATC Lasham’s aircraft engineering support team (AEST) to position the Malaysia Airlines A380 on the runway ahead of its performance in the flying display. ATC Lasham was involved in moving the Airbus A380 out of the static area and onto the runway within the narrow time window allocated by air traffic control at Farnborough. It’s a complex operation and we’re grateful to ATC Lasham for letting us hitch a ride to bring you this short video. Enjoy.
