(I originally posted most of this on June 14, but wanted to let you know I'm still seeking your input,. so here's round two.)
OEMs, airlines and MROs have done a fantastic job incorporating process improvements and leaning workflows. Is there a next step to this?
Continuous process improvement is a journey, but in the last few weeks companies from all of those sectors have told me they are looking into tool control. They are exploring how technology can improve point-of-use, frontline efficiencies and resources.
I couldn't find much information on tool control, so let's do a survey together and figure out the baseline. Simply fill out this Web form: it should take less than 5 minutes. I promise (we've timed it.)
Responses are anonymous.
I'll write about the results in Aviation Week & Space Technology MRO Edition's September issue, and we'll also discuss the aggregated responses at our MRO Europe Conference in September.
If you have any questions, please send me an email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Thanks in advance! I really appreciate your input. And to those who already submitted the questionnaire, thank you!
