As a follow-up to my blog yesterday, I received an email about the Airbus MRO Network, which the OEM launched in 2005.

The original members include 11 companies: Air Canada Technical Services, Air New Zealand Engineering Services, EADS Sogerma Services, Iberia Maintenance & Engineering, Sabena Technics, SIA Engineering Co., Singapore Technologies Aerospace, SR Technics Switzerland, TACA Aeroman, TAP Maintenance & Engineering and Timco Aviation Services.

Since becoming part of the Airbus MRO Network in 2005, ACTS became Aveos and then went bankrupt, Aero Technical Support & Services Holdings purchased 80% of Aeroman, Sabena Technics purchased EADS Sogerma Services,  TAS Management purchased Timco, Mubadala purchases SR Technics and Iberia Maintenance dropped the "& Engineering" part of its name.

The network today consists of 18 members.
