  • Macquarie to Pay $58.4 Million for Goodrich ATS
Posted by Frank Jackman 3:51 PM on Oct 26, 2007

The price tag for Macquarie Bank Ltd.'s acquisition of Goodrich Aviation Technical Services (ATS) is $58.4 million, according to information gleaned from Goodrich's Q3 10-Q filed with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. When the deal was announced on Oct. 1, the parties declined to go into any detail on the terms of the contract. The 10-Q doesn't offer much detail, other than the agreed price and that the company "compared the book value of the net assets of ATS to their value and recorded an estimated loss on the sale of $13.9 million after tax during the three and nine months ended Sept. 30, 2007." Also, the 10-Q put ATS' sales for the first nine months of this year at $122.6 million, up from $119 million through September last year. The deal for the airframe overhaul facility in Everett, Wash., is expected to close by the end of the year.
