People I spoke with yesterday here in Amsterdam are concerned that the aircraft retirement age continues to dip. There are obvious supply chain and MRO repercussions because if aircraft retire before they need major maintenance, that impacts many suppliers and service providers. Who has the magic formula that correlates how the readily available aircraft financing, production rates, aircraft orders, teardown rate, etc will pan out in the future? Is there such a formula?
