Lufthansa Technik just announced a total component support agreement with Air New Zealand covering the Boeing 777-200 and 777-300 aircraft in its fleet. It’s the first time the two companies will be working together. “It is an exciting time for Air New Zealand with our new Boeing 777-300 aircraft entering service this month, and we are pleased to have Lufthansa Technik as one of our key support partners,” said Vanessa Stoddart, Group GM Tech Ops and People for Air New Zealand. “We are delighted to have a new partner in Air New Zealand and will be working towards a long-term support partnership with them,” said Robin Johansson, Director Sales South East Asia & Australia/Pacific at Lufthansa Technik. “The contract is also very special for us as with Air New Zealand we have succeeded in gaining a key customer in New Zealand for the first time,” he added.
