An Air France A340 that underwent maintenance at the Taceo-Taikoo MRO facility in Xiamen, China was subsequently grounded in Boston, according to a report by AFP, citing a leaked union bulletin. 30 screws were found to be missing from a protective panel between the fuselage and the wing. Despite the aircraft making a stop in Charles de Gaulle for three days, the maintenance error went unnoticed until ground crew in Boston spotted the oversight several days later.
