When making modifications, aircraft operators and maintainers must take care to ensure electric systems are not overloaded, Australia's CASA notes in a recent airworthiness bulletin. According to the bulletin, up-to-date electric load analysis records must be maintained for individual aircraft. It outlines specific responsibilities for aircraft owners and registered operators, CAR 35 authorized people and licensed engineers.

You can read more from CASA's latest briefing here. It covers topics from night vision to runway incursions and pilot safety training.
