Goodrich reports in its latest 10Q filing
that third-quarter aftermarket sales were down $122 million, or 19 percent. For the year, Goodrich is expecting aftermarket sales to be off 13 to 15 percent compared to 2008.
The early outlook for 2010 is a year-over-year boost of about 4 percent, but growth probably won't be evident until the second half of the year, the company said.
Goodrich noted that 32 percent of its third-quarter 2009 sales came from the commercial aircraft aftermarket--27 percent from large commercial aircraft work and 5 percent from regional, business and GA work.
