Ametek said yesterday it acquired Miami-based High Standard Aviation, an electrical/electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair services provider with annual sales of about $31 million/year. The Miami MRO joins Ametek's Aerospace & Defense group. The acquisition makes yet another addition to Ametek's MRO-related business over the past year. It gained Muirhead Aerospace Ltd last November, Vision Research last June, and Drake Air last February.
