  • Goodrich Goes After PMA
Posted by Elyse Moody 4:10 PM on Oct 14, 2008

Goodrich Corp. says in a release today that it's looking to manufacture and sell PMA replacement landing gear spare parts for Boeing aircraft.

The landing gear OEM has entered a data license agreement with Boeing, which allows access to detail engineering design needed to get FAA PMA approval. Goodrich says it then could distribute the spare parts directly to users.

Goodrich notes its landing gears are used on most in-service Boeing types: 737, 747, 757, 767 and 777 models. It also makes and assembles Boeing landing gears at facilities in Ohio, Tennessee, Washington, Ontario and Poland.
