The U.S. House of Representatives passed the FAA Reauthorization Bill of 2009 (H.R. 915) by a vote of 277-136 with 20 present/not voting on May 21.
Twelve amendments (one of which was withdrawn) were made to the bill -- none of which seem to concern Sec. 303, which addresses foreign repair stations that service U.S. aircraft.
Click here for the full text of the amendments and links to the full legislation, via GovTrack.org. ARSA also provides a rundown of the session's debates.
What's next? According to congressional procedure, the bill will be considered and voted on by the Senate, which held a hearing May 13 on the issue. For more on it, see my post with key quotes from the hearing.
