EASA guidance on volcanic ash risk assessment is coming out quickly. The European regulator issued this Safety Information Bulletin (SIB) today, updating one released yesterday with a few new details. Appended to the SIB is draft guidance from ICAO's Volcanic Ash Task Force AIR 04 Team, originally issued in December 2010. The task force was put together last Juiy in response to Eyjafjallajökull's disruptive eruptions.
