  • EASA Guidance On Koito Seat Testing
Posted by Sean Broderick 2:26 PM on Jul 31, 2011

The guidance outlines how operators can apply the "similarity" concept, which allows use of static and dynamic test results from some in-service seats to others, similar seats. EASA has developed "seat clusters" for each airframe OEM. Each cluster identifies a key part number that can be tested on behalf of a set of seat models.
