AAR Tuesday announced its second heavy maintenance contract in a week, this time for Hawaiian Airlines Boeing 717s. The MRO provider, which already counts Hawaiian 717 landing gear overhauls as part of its portfolio, reports that it will do heavy checks on 12 aircraft and paint some of them. Last week, AAR announced an expansion of its relationship with Allegiant to do MD-80 heavy maintenance work.
