CASA's new maintenance regulations are in effect as of Monday
. The final rules, published in December after several years of writing and re-writing
, cover continuing airworthiness (CASR Part 42), maintenance personnel licensing (Part 66), approved maintenance organizations (Part 145), and maintenance training organizations (Part 147). CASA's website
