  • Hearing On Repair Station Security Set For Wednesday
Posted by Sean Broderick 9:00 PM on Nov 17, 2009

The House Homeland Security subcommittee responsible for transportation will ponder repair station security at a 2PM ET hearing tomorrow, and the witness list has been filled out to include representatives from industry (airlines, labor and the MRO world) as well as government. Here's a list of scheduled witnesses and links to listen to both the live feed and a recorded feed.

The discussion will focus on TSA's plan to inspect repair stations in the U.S. and abroad. Here's BizAv blogger George Larson's post on TSA's long-awaited draft rule on inspecting MRO shops; here's the draft rule itself (.pdf).
