  • ANZ, Chase Aerospace Add 131-9 APUs at #MROAM

    Orlando-based Chase Aerospace Inc. and Air New Zealand Engineering , which have been supporting GTCP3310-200 APU operators for five years, now are adding GTCP 131-9 APU overhaul and repair capabilities, the two companies said today at #MROAM in Miami Beach. The 331-200 is found on the Boeing 757 annd 767, while the 131-9 is on the Airbus A320 and the Boeing 737. The partners do about 30 331-200s a year Ian Thomas, ANZES's APU business development manager. He says he's "guardedly optimistic" about the partnership's prospects in the much broader 131-9 market. Work on the APUs is done at ANZES's facility in Christchurch.
