The Boeing Co. today reported it has finished acquiring Tapestry Solutions, a San Diego-based provider of software and systems to improve tracking and distributing equipment, spare parts and personnel. Customers include the U.S. DoD as well as other government and non-government agencies, Boeing says. It had announced plans to acquire Tapestry on Sept. 28. The company will operate as part of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems' Global Services & Support Unit. Boeing aims to leverage the company to expand in the supply chain, logistics command and control markets.
