The Czech Republic’s largest carrier, Travel Service, has just extended an engine support contract with Lufthansa Technik by ten years. Under the contract extension Lufthansa Technik will provide a ranges of services to the CFM56-7B engines on the Boeing 737-NG fleet. The airline currently operates 17 aircraft and plans to expand. Robert Gaag, Director Sales Central Europe of Lufthansa Technik, said, “We appreciate the trust that Travel Service has placed in LHT by extending the contract for a further ten years. Travel Service and Lufthansa Technik have been working together for many years, ever since the airline commenced flying operations in 1998.”
