  • 'Towing Incidents' Led To Cracked Airbus Gear

    Overhauls of two sets of nose landing gear revealed cracks that Airbus believes were caused during "towing incidents" that both aircraft were involved in, an EASA proposed AD reveals. As a result, EASA is proposing to mandate checks of 10 gear sets involved in similar incidents--checks that Airbus recommended in service bulletins. See the full AD here.
