Today Cessna celebrated the grand opening of its European Maintenance Service site at Gothenburg Säve Airport in Sweden. It’s Scandinavia's first Cessna-authorized Citation Service Center. The site spans 3,000-square-meters and is set up to provide maintenance services for 500, 525, 550, 560, 560XL and 680 series Citation business jets and can house up to eight aircraft at a time. Among the many amenities to be offered are a 24/7 AOG as well as business, leisure and accommodations services for visiting crew. Stephen Diapère, managing director of EMS and president of the Soya Aviation group, stated, "Gothenburg lies at the heart of Scandinavia. Not only are we very conveniently located for warranty maintenance customers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, but we also offer a new resource for aircraft in Iceland, northern Germany, Russia and the Baltic states."
