  • Continental: Maintenance Costs Up In Q3

    Continental Airlines reports in its latest 10Q filing that maintenance, materials and repairs costs increased 4.6 percent, or $7 million, to $159 million for the three months ended Sept. 30 compared to the same time period in 2008. For the year to date, the costs are down 1 percent, or $5 million, to $473 million compared to 2008. Here's our piece on the airline's full earnings report.
