In case you're wondering how much European airlines spend on maintenance, David Stewart, VP ICF SH&E, provided the answer here at MRO Europe. He says they will spend $12.2 billion, or 24% of the global MRO expenditures.While Eastern European and CIS carriers only account for $2.1 billion of the figure, their portion of the expenditures will grow faster, at a 4.7% compound average growth rate, than the global average of 3.4%, predicts Stewart.
