FAA ADs issued during the week of Dec. 24 - Dec. 28:
2007-26-07: Applies to Boeing 747-200B, 747-300, 747-400, 747-400D and 747-400F series aircraft powered by GE CF6-80C2 engines. It mandates repetitive inspections of the engine core cowl flipper door assemblies -- or modification of the hinge assemblies -- and will take effect on Feb. 1.
2007-26-08: Applies to REIMS AVIATION S.A. F406 aircraft and requires that operators check landing gear emergency blowdown bottles for leakage (due to a design deficiency in the bottle head) to prevent possible landing gear failure, effective Jan. 31.
And two propeller ADs:
2007-26-13: Applies to MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH propellers and aims to identify the population of propellers affected by a previous AD (2006-05-05), which aims to event sheath erosion separation and damage to the aircraft. It takes effect Jan. 31.
2007-26-06: Applies to Hartzell Propeller Inc. Compact Series propellers with "Y" shank aluminum blades and clarifies certain areas of compliance listed under a current AD while updating a service bulletin reference. It takes effect Jan. 30.
