Lufthansa Technik, Bombardier and ExecuJet Aviation Group agreed to modify and extend the terms of the joint venture MRO in Berlin.
Joint venture partners Lufthansa Technik, Bombardier and ExecuJet Aviation Group have agreed to modify and extend the terms of the agreement that forms Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services (LBAS).
The MRO at Berlin Schönefeld Airport specializes in services for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global Express business jets. It was set up by the three partners twelve years ago and since has grown tenfold, according to Lufthansa Technik.LBAS now employs 160 staff who have serviced more than 400 different aircraft with 15 different Part 145 authority approvals. It also dispatches a 24/7 "Mobile Repair Party" to locations as far away as Russia, the Cape Verde Islands or Mauritius, LHT says.
I've requested more details on the JV extension agreement, and I'll update when I hear something. Keep an eye on the MRO Channel for more information.
