    Virgin Galactic has selected Albuquerque–based Ultramain Systems to provide a full suite of ground based and airborne M&E software products. The deal signals the world’s first paperless end-to-end system for commercial space flight.

    Lessor ILFC has signed a deal for electronic records management services for its entire fleet of aircraft with U.K.-based FLYdocs. The deal will help ILFC move towards a paperless environment with full electronic lease returns through the FLYdocs platform. Last month Cathy Pacific signed up with FLYDocs, which will see the company opening its first office in China.

    El Al Israel Airlines has purchased Boeing’s “Maintenance Performance Toolbox” for its fleet of 747-400s, 737s, 767s and 777-200ERs. The e-enabled toolbox system will allow El Al to improve its dispatch reliability. 

    Kentucky-based Southern Air has signed a 12-year agreement for power-by-the-hour support from AJ Walter Aviation. The contract covers Southern Air’s fleet of four Boeing 747 and four Boeing 777 aircraft.
