Shake Up at Cessna

Molly McMillin, writing in Wednesday's Wichita Eagle, pointed out the major management shake up at Cessna that has occurred since the departure of Jack Pelton and arrival of Scott Ernest, who now heads the firm.

Last Thursday, Tim White, who was senior VP sales in the Americas and his wife Dianne White, who was VP corporate communications, left the company. Tim White will become Bombardier's senior VP for sales in the western US working for Brant Dahlfors.

Not long ago, Trevor Esling who was Cessna's senior VP international sales Europe, Africa and Middle East, joined Gulfstream in a similar position. B&CA alum Bob Stangarone, formerly Cessna's VP corporate communications prior to Dianne White, left Wichita to join Embraer. Doug Oliver, Stangarone's main lieutenant, also left Cessna late last year.

Other departures include Mark Paolucci, senior VP sales, Stan Younger, VP service facilities, Mike Hoveleskin, VP contracts and Bill Collier, VP parts.

Another high profile departure was Julie Filucci, formerly manager of Cessna Pilot Centers, now with Jeppesen.

McMillin wrote "Time will tell whether the change made sense."
