  • Bombardier Aerospace Taps Newest Brand Ambassador

I am a woman of many interests.  Besides aviation, quilting and truffle hunting, I am a big fan of great and classic architecture.  I fell in love with the work of Frank Gehry when he was tapped to build the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain.

That building is seen as a seminal work of contemporary architecture.  Other famous Gehry buildings include: the Air and Space exhibit building at the California Museum of Science and Industry; the Frederick Weisman Museum of Art at the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis; and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

The choice by 52 architectural experts of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao as the most important piece of architecture built since 1980 led Vanity Fair magazine to name him “the most important architect of our age” in July 2010.

And now Bombardier Aerospace has tapped Gehry as its newest global brand ambassador under its I Am Global campaign.  He joins fellow ambassadors joins maestro Valery Gergiev and classical pianist Lang Lang in the campaign.
