In the December 23/26 issue of our flag-ship magazine, Aviation Week & Space Technology, we offer an editorial in which we both praise and condemn actions of individuals and organizations in aerospace, aviation and related fields over the past year. There were plenty of smart ideas, acts of courage, bone-headed moves and derelictions of duty to choose from for our "cheers and jeers." As Editor-in-Chief Tony Velocci points out in this blog, the editors had to leave a lot on the cutting room floor. The reactions of readers so far has been interesting. We would love to hear from you about the wisdom (or lack thereof) of calls we made -- and, more important, the noteworthy figures you would have named a "winner" or "sinner" in 2011.
